The Ministry Goals in the Republic of Serbia are to:
- Faster harmonisation with EU regulations and more effective application of the Law on Тelecommunications
- Introduce new electronic services for industry and for citizens
- Complete the legal framework and implementation of laws in the field of ICT and postal services
- Implementa e-government projects, along with the one-window principle
- Apply ICT in education, and enhance education for information society’s needs
- Develop the national information and communication technologies market, bolstering the position of local industry within this sphere
